Celebrating 25 years of dedicated service, Miles & Daughters Funeral Directors is on the lookout for local groups making a positive impact.
After a successful debut last year, the Miles & Daughters Community Fund is back, offering £300 to £1,500 to support projects benefiting communities within a three-mile radius of their branches in Winnersh, Reading, Whitley Wood, Twyford, Bracknell, Crowthorne, Maidenhead, and Tadley.
In its first round, the fund provided £6,000 to charities and causes in crucial need. Now, the call is out for more applications, with Area Development Manager Sarah White expressing pride in supporting the community during challenging times for charities nationwide.
The Community Fund is open to projects falling under health, education, employment opportunities, and poverty or social deprivation categories.
Applications, accepted from February 1 to March 15, will be judged by a panel from Miles & Daughters and an independent expert. Successful projects should demonstrate a commitment to improving the quality of life for local residents. A third application window will open in July, ensuring ongoing support for impactful initiatives.
