Funeral Partners is pleased to support an important research project from the University of Manchester exploring how people experience death administration in the UK.
The project, Uncovering Hidden Inequality: Developing New Ways of Doing Death Administration, aims to better understand how different groups experience death administration and identify opportunities to improve the process.
As part of the research, the University of Manchester is inviting participation in two online surveys:
- Individuals aged 16 or over who have undertaken any aspect of death administration in the UK within the last three years.
- Professionals aged 16 or over who work in a field related to death administration in the UK and have done so within the last three years.
Death administration includes a wide range of practical responsibilities following a death, including registering the death, organising the funeral, managing assets, handling social media accounts and other related tasks.
The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and every response will help researchers develop a better understanding of the challenges people face and how support can be improved.
