Goals 4 GOSH, held its fourth annual charity football match for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity), which took place on Sunday 26 May at Crystal Palace’s Selhurst Park stadium, has raised an astonishing £47,850.
The money raised will go towards supporting seriously ill children from across the UK who are treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
This year’s match featured a star-studded lineup, including BBC reality show The Traitors stars Paul Gorton and winner Harry Clark, former Premier League and Crystal Palace players Wayne Routledge and Adrian Mariappa, internet sensations Kristen Hanby and Danny Aarons.
Regional Development Director, Jamie Groves, who is one of the event founders and organisers, alongside his friend Charlotte Styles, said: “As always, I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved for such a worthwhile cause, and am amazed by the amount of money people have donated.
Speaking on behalf of GOSH Charity, Liz Tait, Director of Fundraising said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to Goals 4 GOSH who have raised over £158,000 for GOSH Charity since starting in 2021.
